Key Responsibilities of a Junior Stores Controller
1. Efficient Management of Line Store Inventory
Maintains the stock levels of essential components such as tools, equipment, wheels, batteries, oils, and other spare parts used for aircraft maintenance.
Ensures all required parts are available to meet the operational demands and schedules.
Keeps an updated inventory to support both Air Arabia and third-party aircraft maintenance operations.
2. Monitoring Storage Conditions and Compliance
Conducts regular inspections to ensure that temperature, humidity, safety, and health standards are met.
Implements measures to prevent risk hazards and ensures compliance with GCAA regulations.
Ensures the proper allocation and storage of tools and equipment.
3. Issuing and Tracking Tools and Spare Parts

Reports unserviceable tools to the Rotables Team for replacement or repair.
Returns unused parts to stock as per company procedures.
4. Inventory Management and Record-Keeping
Maintains accurate records in the RAL system, tracking all received and stored items.
Updates inventory to reflect real-time stock levels, ensuring seamless operations.
Prepares regular stock reports and identifies potential errors or discrepancies.
5. Supporting Safety and Operational Efficiency
Works closely with the Stores Supervisor to ensure adherence to safety protocols.
Ensures that all issued tools and parts align with Technical Procurement guidelines.
Assists in maintaining clean and organized storage facilities to enhance efficiency.
Required Qualifications and Skills
Educational Background
A Diploma or Certificate in a related field is required.
A Bachelor’s degree in any discipline is preferred.
Strong computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office.
Professional Skills and Certifications
Experience working with inventory management software is an advantage.
Knowledge of IATA Dangerous Goods Regulations is beneficial.
Familiarity with GCAA rules and regulations regarding aviation maintenance.
UAE Driving License is required.
Work Experience Requirements
1-2 years of experience in aviation inventory management.
