The Importance of Inventory Management at dnata
Inventory management is a critical component of dnata's operations. Efficient inventory management ensures that all necessary supplies and materials are available when needed, without overstocking or incurring unnecessary costs. The Storekeeper plays a key role in achieving this balance by managing the flow of goods in and out of the stores, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring that stock levels are aligned with operational demands.
Minimizing Costs with Just-In-Time (JIT) Inventory
One of the key responsibilities of the Storekeeper is to assist in maintaining stock at JIT levels. The JIT inventory system is designed to reduce stockholding costs by receiving goods only as they are needed in the production process, thereby minimizing inventory levels. This approach not only reduces storage costs but also minimizes the risk of inventory obsolescence.

At dnata, quality is non-negotiable. As a Storekeeper, you will ensure that all goods received meet the quality standards specified in the purchase orders. Any discrepancies must be identified and reported immediately, allowing for prompt corrective action.
