Warehouse Team Leader
Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Warehouse Team Leader at Al Douri Group in Dubai. The Warehouse Team Leader will be responsible for supervising warehouse operations, managing packing processes, overseeing inventory control, and maintaining effective communication within the team. Report to WH management to discuss operational progresses, identify risk and problematics.
Warehouse Operations:
Ensure efficient and safe receipt, storage, and dispatch of a wide range of food and nonfood items.
Manage stock control, ensuring inventories are accurate and up to date as per standards.
Work on optimizing warehouse space. Being responsible for equipment and well maintenance.
Implement and follow FEFO (First Expiry, First-Out) principles to maintain stock freshness.
Health & Safety:
Ensure the warehouse strictly follows health and safety regulations.
Conduct daily warehouse routine checks, report and correct accordingly deviations. Ensure team members use PPE (Personal Protective Equipment). Investigate and report any accidents or incidents promptly.
Inventory Management:
Conduct regular stock checks and report discrepancies to warehouse management to correct and maintain accurate inventory. Collaborate with the Inventory team to resolve stock discrepancies.
Ensure proper labelling and storage of goods.
Process Improvement:
Continuously look for ways to improve operational efficiency in the warehouse.
Implement best practices and lean techniques to reduce waste and optimize performance.
Collaboration with Other Departments:
Work closely with warehouse management and head of department to ensure smooth inbound and outbound operations.
Coordinate with transport and delivery teams to ensure timely and accurate dispatch.
Qualifications
- Supervisory Skills and Operations Management

- Previous experience in the food industry is a plus
Quality Controller
Responsibilities:
- Verify cleaning checklist (area and machine) in respective area.
- Perform routine inspection of the raw materials during Processing & Packing stage.
- Check if the product is within the tolerance of given specifications.
- Analyze the product wastage during the process to understand type of defect possibilities with product.
- Spot check on sorted products by cut opening in Tray and verifying the cleaning efficiency.
- Analyze if the sorted products are within given specifications.
- Responsible in raising internal non-conformance to any process failure observed during routine visit.
- Perform CCP verification during processing and packing phase.
- Responsible in escalating all product & process related issues to senior management & concerned departments.
- Monitor temperature and relative humidity in confectionary areas.
- Ensure & coordinate for compliance to Food code requirements.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years’ work experience in similar capacity related to food manufacturing (Not necessarily UAE work experience)
- Education: Any BSc. or B Tech related to food science/food engineering/ food technology
Skills or Competencies:
- HACCP
- Awareness on ISO 22000 or FSSC 22000
- GMP/GHP in manufacturing. (optional)
- Any Food safety related internal auditor training (optional)
